Aspen APS 4A Altitude Preselect Interface Box

Overview

The Altitude Preselect System (APS4A) has been approved under Aspen Avionics’ FAA AML-STC as an optional altitude preselect integration kit for the KFC 200 model autopilots.

The kit was developed and is distributed globally by Avionik Straubing of Germany. This FAA approval authorizes integration of the APS4A with the Evolution Flight Display System, and enables the KFC200 autopilot to automatically capture the target altitude set using the EFD1000 altitude bug.

The APS4A Altitude Preselect System may also be used as an interface for Air Data Displays or Primary Flight Displays with alerter function, and a variety of existing Autopilot Systems to supply Altitude Preselect – and Hold-Function.
